Thank you to Aaron Burger Photography for taking photos of all of the trees at the 2024 Fall Bonsai Show at the Cincinnati Krohn Conservatory/
Photos from the recent repot of the large Ficus "Too Little" forest at the Cincinnati Krohn Conservatory.
This large Ficus "Too Little" forest re-pot was a huge undertaking by several people from the Bonsai Society of Greater Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Krohn Conservatory.
This workshop will provide Shohin instruction for an in-depth focus on developing your own shohin bonsai. This program is perfect for seedlings and cuttings, and the techniques found in this program are also great for learning proper wound healing, proportion building, and ramification theory, all of which not only apply to shohin, but larger trees as well.

Concratulations to all of the participants!
For the last Beginner's Workshop of 2024 we had a class of fun people who were eager to get started on the bonsai journey. We had a really interesting species of tropical tree from Indonesia called premna which has beautiful small glosy leaves, gets white flowers and purple fruit, and has a really weird odor. Thanks to all those that attended, and to the club members that volunteered their time to help out!
