BSGC Bio - Dr. Douglas Hawley

Doug Hawley, M.D., specialized in oncology and blood disorders.  He retired from OHC in 2015 and is now working for the VA Hospital.  He would delight his patients by bringing to his office blooming azalea bonsai trees.  With his bonsai trees, he entered both national and local shows, winning local awards for Best in Show and People’s Choice.  He was president of BSGC from 1998 to 2000.   He was on the American Bonsai Society (ABS) Board and is a lifetime member of BSGC.
