One of the many things that your Bonsai Society is involved with is the bonsai collection in the John Carroll Bonsai Gallery at the Krohn Conservatory. Several of us maintain the collection weekly and answer questions of the guests about bonsai year-round.
First Saturday free meet-ups at the Krohn Conservatory are now open. Members meet at the Krohn to work on their own trees while chatting with other members and enjoying a few hours dedicated to your own trees.
You will need to bring a table cloth as well as your tree(s), tools, and supplies you will need when working on them. Note that there will be no meet-up the first Saturday in March.
For this workshop we will be travelling to a private property located in Crescent Springs, KY to hunt for wild tree specimens and collect them. Cost is $30 per person.
This month will be a program on bonsai pots and how to select one, and on how to re-pot bonsai.
Fellowship - 6-7pm
Regular meeting - 7-9pm
