2nd Annual Bonsai Weekend at the Waterfront Gardens Louisville

This past weekend we went down to visit the Louisville Bonsai Society's 2nd Annual Bonsai Weekend at the Waterfront Gardens.  This is a beautiful venue and will be expanding beginning in a few months with a number of outdoor areas.  We went last year and the quality of trees has really improved year-to-year.  There were some really nice specimens there, along with some interesting companion plants, stands, and suiseki.  This is the kind of show we should aspire to as a club so take a look at these photos for some ideas an inpiration for how to display the trees you'll be showing at the Krohn for the BSGC show coming up on October 5th & 6th.  Even if you don't have a stand or companion plant, having a great pot can make all the difference in the display of your tree.
